October 25, 2011
To Lifepac of Southwest Washington:
I believe that regional governments and their agencies have a serious responsibility to advance a consistent ethic regarding the respect for all human life.  I believe that it is scientifically accurate to say that human life begins at conception and I believe that life begins at conception.

I do not believe that taking a life of a pre-born child through abortion is morally permissible unless it is to save a mother's life.

I also support parental notification and consent before a minor under the age of 18 could have an abortion.

While I am not an active member of any religious organization, I consider myself a Christian man and I do believe that faith based organizations place an important role in the health and well being of our community.  I support many organizations through charitable giving including Vancouver's Northwest Childrens' Outreach which supplies diapers, clothing, formula, blankets and toys for Clark County's most vulnerable children, through no fault of their own, are going without the most basic things they need.
Sincerely,
Neil Cahoon
