I'm a native of Vancouver and have enjoyed working with
students through the Junior Achievement program and as a
volunteer basketball coach with the Clark County Family YMCA
and Columbia River High School.
I
am running for a school board position so I can continue
working to improve the educational opportunities for our
children. You are most likely familiar with the many
challenges that public schools face. I believe that, with
fresh thinking, we can continue to raise the bar on learning
and help students graduate well-prepared for the world in
which they will be competing.
All of us benefit when our elected officials operate in an
open and honest manner. That is how I will work with you.
We, as taxpayers, want to see excellent schools for our
children and to have our district carefully and thoughtfully
use our tax dollars. That is what I will strive for.

effective member of the school board in a short time. Please
