Ms. Davis sent us the following
statement in regards to recreational marijuana sales for La
Center:
"This is a residential, family community. La
Center’s growth should reflect the needs of families and
small businesses. That means a vibrant “Main Street,”
parents actively engaged in policymaking, and residential
development that is walkable and bikeable. It does not mean
cannabis retail and neon lights. La Center should look and
feel like Bedford Falls, not Pottersville. I oppose
marijuana retail in La Center."
