This evening, Washougal City
Council passed the marijuana bill, indefinitely banning
production, processing, and sales in the city. The
vote was 5 to 2, with Paul Greenlee,
Jennifer McDaniels,
Dave Shoemaker, Dan Coursey and
Michelle Wagner voting to make the temporary moratorium
permanent.
Councilors
Brent Boger and
Joyce
Lindsey voted against the permanent ban.
With the sunset expiring on Thursday, this was an
emergency meeting requiring five votes to pass the bill.
