Draft “VPS Equity Policy” The Language of the Draft Policy
is straight from Neo Marxism. Racially Discriminating and
educationally bereft of the legal principals of equality
embraced by the Declaration of Independence, legally defined
in the 14th and 15th Amendments to the US Constitution, and
made actionable in the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the
Voting Rights Act of 1965. The Authors of this “Policy”
replaced the legal terminology of equality with the Marxist
defined term equity ...

Once again, the Vancouver School
Districts’ Board of Directors meeting did not disappoint. I
thought parents had rights over their children, not the
school board. I thought parents had rights over their
children, not the teachers. Apparently, the Vancouver Public
School Board thinks differently, as evidenced at the August
school board meetings.

curriculum to ensure it represents our diverse community,
and reviewing current efforts to recruit and retain a
diverse workforce.

Vancouver Public Schools launches
equity initiative
June 11th, 2020
As a call to
action to address issues of equity and justice grows across
the U.S., Vancouver Public Schools will launch a district
equity initiative in 2020-21. “For the past 12 years, a
commitment to equity has been embedded into our mission
statement and the six
goal areas of our district’s strategic plan,”
said Steve Webb, superintendent. “Now we will take a major
step by elevating and bringing greater focus to this work.
It is our moral imperative.”
