Candidate Statement: "The endorsement I received from the NWPC is a means of supporting me as a woman in politics that promotes environmental stewardship, rather than an alignment of Pro-Life VS. Pro-Choice Issues. As our public utility commissioner, I bring the religious and spiritual values I uphold as an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am an alumnus of Brigham Young University and support the values taught within its institution. The value statement I submitted when I ran for office in 2012 continues to reflect my core values in relation to family and the sanctity of life." |
