I would like to start off by thanking you for your efforts to bring awareness to human life issues in Southwest Washington.  Granted, a lot of these concerns will never come before me at the Vancouver City Council, I feel these values are important to relay to my constituents.

Municipal Government:  Municipal government has minimal impacts in right to life issues.  I have been on council for almost two years and have yet to decide on the vast majority of these concerns.

Public Library Pornography:  Pornography of graphic/explicit materials should not be accessible in our public libraries.

Sexually Oriented Business:  Such businesses should be located in an area that does not have a negative impact of the surrounding properties.  This is already being implemented with existing codes.  I would also stress the importance of distancing these businesses from schools and parks.

Abortion:  I do believe that life begins at conception, and that all life should be protected.  I also believe a parent should be notified anytime a medical procedure is to be performed on a minor. 

Gaming:  I do not support the Cowlitz Casino being built in Clark County.  This casino will not in any way improve the quality of life in Vancouver. 

Religious Community Contributions:  My family and I are parishioners at St. Joseph Catholic Church.  I have served on the Parish Council and as Head Usher.  My kids attend the school as I feel religion is a vital part of their education.
